Social Media

  1. The Schau Productions

Audience: Couples within the 24 - 35 age range

Context: The Schau Productions is a photo and film company based out of Miami with a focus on engagements, maternity, weddings and elopements.

As of February of 2021, this business had no niche. They would specialize in all types of photography and had no target audience. They would photograph models, graduations, couples, weddings and more.

Beginning in March of 2021, this photographer/videographer niched down and built a clear Instagram strategy. Over the last year and a half, each post has been created with intentionality—meaning that this business owner is now keeping their clients’ needs in mind when they content plan. Instead of simply posting an eye-catching photo, they now bring value to their audience. Examples of these include: outfits to wear to make the most out of a photo session, reasons to use water as a prop during the session, recommended venues for engaged couples who are wedding planning and more.

In addition, this business owner has now tapped into the different features Instagram has to offer. As of March of 2021, they have incorporated reels to grow their following and reach, guides to provide additional tips to their current / future customers and stories to build relationships and trust with their existing audience.
